The Tam is our round the world, carry everything ‘including the kitchen sink’ expedition bike. Designed from the ground up to be the best handling, most comfortable, most capable off-road touring bike available.

We’re all about versatility and reliability and the Tam is no exception. Specifically designed and built around the ultra-reliable Rohloff Speedhub and Gates Carbon Belt Drive you’ll not be left at the side of the road trying to fix a mechanical.
Built from Reynolds 631 steel tubing on the front triangle and Dedacciai tubing on the rear end, the Tam will take pretty much anything you can throw at it. And should the unthinkable happen, the frame gets damaged on your trip, you can be rest assured that it can be easily repaired.
As with the majority of Shand bikes, modular cable routing and rear dropouts can be changed to be compatible with single speed or derailleur drivetrains at a later date. If you’re ordering a frame only, the modular rear dropouts are available with the following transmission and disc brake options:

- IS, Post and Flat disc brake mounts
- Integrated frame splitter for beltdrive
