The Bahookie is our do-it-all mountain bike – a hand-built Reynolds 631 steel frame designed around 29er or 650B+ wheels and a 120mm travel fork. Perfect for bikepacking, adventure racing, bashing round local trails or heading out for a long day in the hills. Simple.

The Bahookie is our do-it-all mountain bike – a hand-built Reynolds 631 steel frame tubing, designed around 29er or 650B+ wheels and a 120mm travel fork. Perfect for bikepacking, adventure racing, bashing round local trails or heading out for a long day in the hills. Simple.
As with the majority of Shand bikes, modular cable routing and rear dropouts can be changed to be compatible with Rohloff and Gates Belt Drive at a later date. If you’re ordering a frame only, the modular rear dropouts are available with the following transmission and disc brake options:
- 135×10 QR
- 142/148×12 bolt-thru
- Rohloff
- Singlespeed
- Derailleur with 1x crank (including direct mount)
- IS, Post and Flat disc brake mounts
- Integrated frame splitter for beltdrive
- Please Note If using a Rohloff Hub the frame will need to have the 142/135mm rear hub spacing option only
