Built with premium Columbus Zona tubing, the Shand Stoater is our response to the uninspiring steel touring bikes of the past. Designed to blend speed, stability, and load-carrying capability, the Stoater proves you no longer have to compromise performance for practicality.
Thanks to a carefully considered geometry and tubeset, the Stoater delivers a fast, confident ride whether you’re fully loaded on an Alpine tour or off the beaten track.. This is a truly versatile machine, capable of adapting to your riding needs year-round.
At its core, the Stoater frame is built around the flat mount disc brake standard, with a 12mm thru-axle up front and a Paragon Polydrop rear dropout. This modular dropout design allows for incredible drivetrain flexibility—compatible with Rohloff hubs, singlespeed setups, or a Gates Carbon Belt Drive, alongside traditional derailleur systems.
