Descendants of the cyclocross bikes and closely related to the adventure category, these bikes are suitable for anything from lightweight sport touring, performance touring or full on expedition, and can be ridden from tarmac all the way to off-road. Shand’s fleet of touring cycles are all made from steel – Reynolds 853, Columbus or Dedacciai – which makes them durable and stable, but also fun and fast. Created with both flat and drop bar options, they allow you to adjust your riding position depending on the surface travelled while retaining full control of the road ahead and enjoyment of the scenery.
Available with either Rohloff Speedhub or single speed drivetrain options, derailleur or Carbon Belt Drive, the Shand Stoater, Stooshie, Tam and Daunder are all easy to maintain and will not hold you back from your adventures. Designed to be ridden as they come or fully loaded, each of them can be fitted with a number of additional options depending on your destination. Water bottle holders, pump pegs, fittings for dynamo wiring, pannier racks, USB charging options, wider more supportive saddles are all available as upgrades – just speak to a member of our team and we will help you create the tourer that fits your best.
